Painted in Wellfleet, MA, August 2 (journal). Painting also titled "Simba" and "Three in One." Simba was the name of ECD's sailboat. ED note: it a "forerunner to the oil `South Wellfleet Inn.'""N.W. wind slanting horizon downward toward right." Journal noted August 2, 1951: "painted a 16/12 oval `3 in 1' looking NNW"
