He accepted it; he made a few minor suggestions which I carried out when he left.", 7 "Sent for $500= of the Sears $1000=", 11, 12, 13, 14 "fini, coat", 20, 28 "sent a note to J. This was a commission on which the first attempt failed and the existing portrait, a second portrait done in 1955, succeeded.
