Notes
Painted in Paris, possibly on March 8 (journal), when he painted on the second figure, at 52 Avenue du Maine. Head of Fanny Shapiro, a Roumanian, was cut by ED out of a large oil on canvas, probably 4 x 5', which also contained figures of Suzanne Rousseau and Germaine Gedoux.
