Painted in New York, NY. Journal, "Painted Roland [sic] and posed for Fisher." ED note: "Paul & I had a studio 4th floor at 25 E. 14th St. Quite a gay life." ED note: "A savage appearing portrait of an admirable artist." Several paintings said to be under this one, on reverse was a Provence landscape by Rohland, 1884-1953.
