Painted in Provincetown, MA, May 31, in cottage on Peaked Hill Dunes, near the Peaked Hill Coast Guard Station. March 16, 1957, L. Anderson found it in an auction house where he bought it for $2.50. Heoffered it to ED, who wished him to keep it.
