Painted in Provincetown, MA, June 16 (journal), near the end of Brewster St. where ED and when they were courting and he was painting her portrait. Also titled "Wheels in the Trees" and have old photo showing wheels piled amidst trees there. ED note: "Road by Mrs. Driscoll's oil, P.C. [premier coup] 40x50, my biggest premier-coup."
