Notes
Painted in Provincetown, MA, in Arch Street studio. ED note, "Children dancing around a clock, old man, railroad train, much sky." "Mayme Noons seated on ground L. center." To R.P. September 29, 1965: "An old man on a hill holding 2 small kids by the hand, Mamie Noons, a girl dancing in front of a clock - other folk - and a little below, a locomotive steaming by . . . . beyond all is a Portuguese Azores village with houses & street laid off, and a sky which, more of a design than a sky & not very good at that, but `twas a try.'"Provenance
