Notes

Painted in Provincetown, MA, July 29. See CR # . ED asked for and received from the captain of the Salt Lake City, (a heavy cruiser of 10,000 tons), a boat from which to paint her. He painted an hour until stopped by rain and then had lunch aboard, (journal). The Salt Lake City was sunk in the Pacific in 1945.
