Notes

Executed in Provincetown, MA. One extant print pulled by ED. Plate size is 6 3/4 x 4 7/8." In 1932 the Dickinsons lived in an apartment owned by John Francis. The large painting at left is an oil portrait of "Bertha" by Frances Dickinson. Below is part of the red velvet couch first owned by ED's Dickinson great-grandparents in the 1840s. On an upper shelf is a "White Owl" cigar box. Hanging from a beam is one of ED's favorite objects, an iron stillyard, an old weighing device.
